I’m so sorry for your loss. On a lighter note, my parents are currently in St. Helena and my dad texted me a picture of a book. I saw green shelves in the background and called him immediately: “OMG are you at Wild Plum Books?!” He couldn’t believe I knew where he was and I explained how much I love your substack and thus your bookstore although I’ve yet to make a trip to visit in person. I was kicking myself for not suggesting your shop when I knew they’d be in the area but I’m so happy they wandered in on their own!
