Ughhhhhhh I wish I could wave my magic wand. My heart is breaking a bit also b/c I am going to miss my fave, Catherine Newman (and Sofia!). I have a wedding in WA the day before. I guess my calendar is not syncing with Wild Plum goodness. Cannot wait to read this one! This sentence of yours: "When belief stopped being something you tended and became something wielded."
The performative nature of summer ease is particularly heightened for female founders. Most of us are working! Letās have lunch in August to brainstorm ways to pay that tax bill (California does not make it easy!) ā¤ļø
Ouillle! Tax forms.Things with numbers on do my brain in! I'm dycalculic and have a number phobia. I would love to come to your bookstore! I was once in St Helena, years ago, when the company my husband worked for did a conference there, and we stayed at Meadowwood!! OMG! That place! Have you been?? It's soooo beautiful. Maybe next year, when my book comes out, I can do a reading at your bookstore. Not sure I'll stay at Meadowwood....but who knows! Does it still exist?
My very first job was at Meadowood!! It's so gorgeous. And they've redone the spa since you were there and it is magnificent. I say aim high for your book tour!! xx
as another small business owner you are not alone in the head spinning land of P+Lās and tax bills. šµāš«
it is WILD how much i pay in relationship to how much i make. WILD.
WILD!! Thank goodness everyone seems to pay their equal share of taxes š«
Brilliant. All of if.

We all need a magic tax wand!! Wouldn't that be something. A wedding in WA sounds fabulous and we'll be sure to dot the calendar with plenty of other delightful events. Promise š©µ
